Romantic Snowy Wedding at Antrim 1844 | Sarah & Amal
We never could have predicted a snow covered ground for this late March wedding at historic Antrim 1844, but alas - Maryland was covered in snowfall earlier that week and while everything had melted in downtown Baltimore, our drive out west proved to be a different story!
For this wedding, our bride Sarah was inspired by Southern blooms - flowers like magnolia blossoms and dogwoods with sweet scents that she had grown up smelling and enjoying in Florida at her grandmother’s home. Incorporating these florals into her bouquet and into the vintage stamps we used for styling, the bride’s lace dress, pearl necklace, and blush roses only added to the Southern Charm.
Mixing cultures during their ceremony, the mother of the groom sang a beautiful Sri Lankan song, accompanied by a violinist, that brought guests to tears. Then partying the night away, guests departed with Baltimore Berger cookies as sweet takeaway treats.
